FEATURES :
3.1
Bottom pouring ladle shall be supplied with Stopper Rods and Nuts (2
No.s. ), operating lever arrangement, gear mechanism with hand wheel
for tilting the ladle, trunions, bail-arm, heat shield, hook / shackle
for lifting with EOT crane lop, legs, refractory lining ring, locking
lever etc.
3.2
Bottom pouring ladle shall be supplied with 5 No.s of graphite stopper
heads as optional item.
4.0
DOCUMENTATION:
4.1
Supplier shall furnish constructional details of the Ladle. i.e.
General arrangement drawing, volume to weight calculations for molten
steel along with the quotation.
4.2
Supplier shall furnish detailed dimensional sketches of stopper rod
with nut, refractory insulating sleeve to be fitted on to the stopper
rod, refractory nozzle and graphite stopper head.
4.3
Three sets of each of the following documents to be furnished along
with the Ladle
Operation Manual
3 sets
Maintenance Manual
3 sets
4.4
List of customers for similar geared bottom pouring ladle shall be
furnished along with the offer.
5.0
PRE INSPECTION :
M/s BHEL Engineers will inspect the Ladle at suppliers works before
dispatch.
6.0
GUARANTEE :
The geared bottom pouring Ladle shall be guaranteed for a period of
one year from date of commissioning.
7.0
SPECIAL REMARKS:
7.1
Vendor shall submit technical offer and price offer separately in two
sealed covers
7.2
They shall be original equipment manufacturers
7.3
They shall be in line of manufacturing of similar Bottom pouring
ladles with capacities greater than or equal to 5 Ton and up to 20 Ton
for not less than 5 years.
