School Presents
“PLUGGED IN”
An All Youth Band Rock Concert
Event Schedule / Format
Date/Time: Saturday, September 12th, 2015, from 6:30-10:00pm
Location: Chandler Center for the Arts. 250 N Arizona Ave, Chandler,
AZ 85225
Admission: Free
Format: 9 bands allotted 20 minutes each move on, move off stage time.
A backline will be provided.
This is NOT a competition. Bands are performing for entertainment only
and are not judged.
Genres: All genres are welcome. A diverse blend of genres will be
chosen.
Ages: The majority of band members must be under 21 with none being
over 25.
Band Perks: $100 paid to each band, including in-studio recording by
Green World Studios.
Auditions: A maximum of 20 Bands will be chosen from those applying to
perform at an audition to determine which bands will play at the
Plugged In show. These auditions will be conducted over the course of
two shows at Hard Rock Café on August 22nd and Alice Cooperstown on
August 29th. Bands will perform two songs in front of an impartial
panel of judges comprised of members of the local music scene. Final
selections will be made at the end of the Alice Cooperstown audition
on August 29th.
Sponsors: Event sponsors will have the opportunity to provide
promotional items to all attendees and have a display table in the
lobby. They will also receive recognition onstage and be included on
the website, newsletters and social media. Star level sponsors will
also receive a ¼ page ad in the playbill. Their logo and links will
also appear on the two Audition programs.
