CIRCULAR
Sub: Procurement of Polyester Staple Fibre (PSF) by
Central Sliver Plants (CSPs) – reg.
Ref:1. Circular No. DKRM/CSP/PSF Pur Policy/2011-12/

2012-13 dated 26-6-2012
In continuation to the above Circular and Corrigendum issued by
Directorate of KRM, the following modification has been made as per
the Commission decision taken in its 611th meeting dated 20-3-2013 and
612th meeting dated 22-4-2013 as detailed below:
1.
PLC/CPCs of CSPs shall call for quotations/rates from the three
private manufacturers of Polyester Staple Fibre i.e. (1) M/s.
Indorama Synthetic Pvt. Ltd., (2) M/s. Bombay Dyeing &
Manufacturing Company and (3) Reliance Industries Ltd., alongwith
their authorized dealers of the three private manufacturers of
Polyester Staple Fibre.
2.
Since reputed manufacturers i.e. (1) M/s. Indorama Synthetic Pvt.
Ltd., (2) M/s. Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Company and (3)
Reliance Industries Ltd., do not participate in tender process
hence it has been decided to exempt EMD for these three reputed
manufacturers. The dealers of the three reputed manufacturers will
be exempted from EMD for a period of six months, after which the
practice shall be reviewed for further decision in the matter.
All other conditions and guidelines issued vide above circular &
Corrigendum will remain unchanged.
