Integrity Pact Programme
Bringing the practices in NMDC up to the internationally acclaimed
best practices for raising integrity levels in procurement and
contract works, the accompanying Integrity Pact Programme in NMDC is
as under.
PROCEDURE

The bidder / contractor shall submit the Integrity Pact document
on its company’s letterhead, duly signed by the authorized
representative on all pages.
*
If the bidder / contractor is a partnership or a consortium, the
Integrity Pact shall be signed by all the partners or consortium
members.
*
On behalf of NMDC, the Integrity Pact will be signed by the tender
issuing officer or his authorized nominee immediately on receipt
of Integrity Pact signed by the bidder / contractor and submitted
in a separate envelope, duly super scribed with ‘Integrity Pact’
while submitting the tender documents.
*
The bidder / contractor shall not change the contents of the
Integrity Pact.
*
The principal will forward proforma of the integrity pact along
with the tender.The bidder/contractor will abide by the conditions
given in the IP document enclosed as annexure along with the
tender document.
*
All the pages of the integrity pact are to be signed by both the
principal and the bidder/contactor.
*
Prospective bidder will submit in Part – A of tender, a
certificate on prescribed format, indicating their confirmation
for completeness of Integrity Pact.
*
The bidders/contractors shall mention in the “letter of
undertaking” that “they will abide by the provisions of the
Integrity Pact.”
A brief may be given to the prospective tenderers along with tenders
explaining the opportunity available to them for ensuring transparency
under Integrity Pact.
COVERAGE
All tenders above the following values will be covered under the
Integrity Pact :

Civil Works Rs. 20.0Crores
*
Procurement Rs. 10.0Crores
*
Contracts Rs. 20.0Crores
Provision of IP is applicable only for the tenders on capital
expenditures involving contract and procurement.
