-Why your snack is healthy.
-What key nutrients (6-9) are found in your snack and what is the
break down of each nutrient?
-What part of the food pyramid does your snack fall under?
-How many calories are in your snack?
-What is a serving size for your snack?
-Downside to your snack. (Is it high in fat, calories, bad taste?)
-How long would you have to exercise to burn off the snack? Give 2
different exercise options (4 if you are working with a partner-2
each).
Paper requirements
A.
Individual-at least one page in length, double-spaced, 14 font,
1-inch margins, proof read, checked for spelling & grammar,
bibliography of at least 3 sources is listed. Explain at least 6-9
key nutrients.
B.
2 People-one page each. (2 pages) Explain at least 12-15 key
nutrients. All other components same as above (individual).
C.
Extra Credit-have a recipe for the class to have or a poster of
the information.
