Troubleshooting steps for Presence and IM
If Presence is not working on the system here are few troubleshooting
steps:
1.
Open a Putty connection to Presence Server. Login as
craft/craft01. Go to super user (su sroot/sroot01)
On the CLI, type the command “Monit status”
The result will be shown as:

Make sure all the services are running, specially xcp_sip_proxy,
jabberd, drs, xcp_presence_model and xcp_presence_container.
If these services are not running, there is some problem in
installation of presence server.

Login to Presence server web server

Click on the Presence server web controller, it will ask for the
credentials to be entered, the default credential is
craft/craft01. After entering credential Presence web controller
page will open.

Click on the Edit link of Core Router.

5.
Select the Advance option at top right corner. Check the Manually
trusted TLS Hostnames. This name should be same (at least start
should be same what we have entered at the SMGR Domain
substitution page)

Make sure at SMGR the name is in Lower case. This substitution is used
to map the SMGR extension login to the presence ID.

6.
Login to SMGR and go to user-> System Presence ACLs.
i.
The system rule of the page should have priority High and Low with
Access Level to All and Action to Allow.
ii.
The default policy should have access level to all and Action to
Allow.
