Note that this version of the test only is a revision of the original
translation provided by Dr. Erica Carlisle. The last three items (the
words “rebellious”, “health conscious” and “free and independent” in
Swedish) has been removed because they don’t belong to the test. The
sequence of items has been changed so that the items are in the same
order as in the English version. Also, instead of using the short
alternative scale with only three alternatives (“Disagree strongly”,
“Neither agree nor disagree” and “Agree strongly translated into
Swedish”) and explaining the meaning of the numbers in the instruction
I have translated all alternatives and put the text under the numbers.
Except the table, the instruction (which both are copied from Dr.
Carlisle’s translation) and the translation itself, this version is
exactly the same as the English version. There is a minor problem with
translating “Neither agree nor disagree” into Swedish, “Varken håller
med eller inte håller med” is not grammatically correct, therefore I
use “Varken eller”.
