PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

CS-669 is a one component solvent Acrylic Clear Concrete Lacquer.
CS-669 is designed for use on
concrete, masonry, brick and decorative concrete. CS-669 is a high
gloss, non-yellowing sealer.
CS-669 has excellent resistance against water and dirt penetration.
CS-669 dustproofs concrete by
penetrating surface pores leaving a tough durable film.

PRODUCT USES
============
CS-669 is recommended as a deep penetrating sealer to protect new and
old concrete surfaces from penetration of water, dirt and effects of
freeze/thaw cycles. The resulting tight film helps prevent “dusting”
of the concrete, spalling, and deterioration. CS-669 is also
recommended for masonry and decorative concrete. CS-669 is not
recommended for heavy traffic areas. Contact Gulf Coast Paint for
epoxy-polyurethane systems on heavy traffic areas.
SURFACE PREPARATION
-------------------
Surface should be sound, clean and DRY. Remove all contaminants, dust,
dirt, paint, waxes or other foreign material. Wash floor with a
neutral cleaner and allow to dry. If oils or grease is present, use a
industrial strength degreaser or detergent for removal. The surface
should be rinsed thoroughly to remove any residue. Allow surface to
dry before applying sealer.
APPLICATION
===========
Mix well with slow speed Explosion Proof Drill and Jiffy mixer. Apply
CS-669 with a short nap roller, low pressure sprayer or lambswool
applicator. Apply a uniform wet film; do not puddle material. Do not
cover more area that can be worked in 10 minutes due to fast drying
time. Two coats are normally recommended depending on porosity or type
of service. CS-669 is flammable, keep away from open flame. For safety
and product curing, proper ventilation is necessary through out
application and product cure.
PRECAUTIONS
===========
Do not apply to surfaces below 50°F. Substrate should clean, sound
and dry. Any foodstuff in the application area should be removed prior
to application. Keep material from freezing. Only use with proper
ventilation. Apply a test patch over any questionable surface. Do not
use in area subject to hot oil, grease, etc.
CAUTIONS
CS-669 is flammable. Keep away from all sources of ignition during
mixing, application and cure. The use of goggles, fresh air masks or
NIOSH approved respirators, protective skin cream and protective
clothing is a recommended standard practice when applying coating.
This product is sold without warranty as to performance expressed or
implied. Users are urged to make their own tests to determine the
suitability for their particular conditions.
NOTE: CS-669 Clear will not meet V.O.C. compliant regulations in some
counties in California and other states. Check all local, county and
state V.O.C. regulations before using the CS-669 Clear.
