Procedures for Submission of a Proposal:
In order to insure adequate time for review, for notification of any
corrections that need to be made, and institutional endorsement,
original and (2) two copies of the entire proposal application
(project description can be in draft form) and of the “Information and
Routing Sheet For Grant and Contract Proposals” must be submitted to
the Office of Sponsored Research at least (5) five business days prior
to a sponsor’s designated deadline. The PI is responsible to obtain
All signatures (including their Dean’s signature) prior to submitting
the grant application to the Office of Sponsored Research.
For NIH Non-Competing Continuation the above applies with the
exception that PIs have to complete the “Information and Routing Sheet
for NIH Non-Competing Continuation Proposals” and that no signatures
need to be obtained from Dept. Head or Deans unless there is a
significant change to the original proposal.
