Rene Kane@All: In our community, it's up to the victim of a hate crime
whether they want to make it public. There's often significant risk in
making certain crimes public, especially to a person who is already
vulnerable.

Ginger Wireman@All: All we are actively reaching out to our Muslim
community, they are hosting open houses and their youth had a bake
sale which many people attended. They must've made a lot of money -
there was a line like at Disneyland!
Michelle Vilchez@All: Our experience has been is that we need to
create a safe space to have authentic dialogue regardless of political
interests and to allow for "different" voices to have equal space.
Regardless of conservative or progressive approaches, we need to help
others build empathy and increase understanding. Story telling has
worked miracles, and using photo/video have also worked.
